This is the checklist our artists use to ensure we all have what we need when painting a mural project. There is nothing worse that arriving on site or being in your creative element and you have forgotten a key material or piece of equipment. This list has helped us many times and we we hope it provides that same result for you.

**Please note**

Our artists specialise in aerosol paint but this list will still help those using norman painting materials. Feel free to copy and paste this for future use.

MURAL CHECKLIST

- Mural Design

If you are working on a large area use a grid over your design to map out where everything will sit on the wall when sketching up.

- Spray cans or Artist Paint

Be sure all colours match the design you will be painting.

- Spray Caps

This will allow you to cover larges areas and add details.

- Paint Brushes

Big and small brushes for large areas and details

- Mural Undercoat

Prepare the wall right and your art will last the test of time. If you are coating a large area paint sprayers are a great idea.

- Paint Roller & Heads

Wrap the roller head in cling wrap for storage without cleaning! You can also pack a roller extension for those hard to reach spots.

- PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)

Face mask, gloves

- Clear Coat

Be sure to grab a spare roller head for the clear coat

- Wallet & Cash

Nothing worse than being stuck without money to buy more materials if needed.

- Spot lights

Great for getting a few extra hours work in a day.

- Ladder

Having a ladder at your disposal means you are always going to reach those spots that are just out of reach. If you grab a snap ladder it can also be used as a table by placing pre cut wooden board on it.

- Stencils

If required in your design.

- Basic Tools

Screw driver, Hammer, cordless drill etc. Just in case there is something stopping you from completing your project you have come prepared! - String Line

Great way to create an accurate painting grid to scale your mural artwork.

- Business Cards

Don't be surprised if you are painting and someone asks you for a business card.

Always having business cards on you means people leave with your name and phone number for future business.

- Sunscreen & Hat

Be sure to pack these if you are painting outside to avoid uncomfortable sunburn.

- Quality Camera

A camera is a great way to grab photos and video of you in action that can be used to promote yourself and you artwork later. Take some nice shots once you have completed your artwork

- Music

This is a big one! Rock out to your favourite tracks and get that creative flow happening. Headphones are a great idea if you are not in a dangours place t
