Urban Art Australia's mural artist are professionals and have many years of experience within the creative industry.

 

- The Process -

 

 

1. GET A QUOTE 

 

Fill out our online Mural Quote form.

 

2. QUOTE APPROVAL & MURAL DEPOSIT 

 

Once you have received and accepted your quote we ask that a 50% deposit of the project total is paid prior to commencing. 

 

3. DESIGN BRIEF & PROJECT POST 

 

 

After your deposit has been received, we will gather a design brief to present to our mural artists. Subject to availability, our artists will then apply to paint your project. You will then be provided with a number of applying artists along with a link to their portfolio or body of work. 

 

4. ARTIST & DESIGN APPROVAL  

 

Once you have chosen an artist to work with, they will then create and submit a design that will be subject to your approval. A design will not be installed until you have signed off on it.

 

 

4. APPLICATION DATE & PAINTING OF MURAL

 

Now we have an approved design, it's time to organise the installation of your mural artwork and gather any extra materials that may be needed for your project. An average mural usually takes around 1 - 2 days to complete (Average project dimensions of 2m x 5m)

All artists carry public liability insurance to the amount of 20,000,000

- Price Calculation -

 

Prices are calculated on the following factors: Wall Size, Artwork/ Design/ Theme , Production Time (hours/days), Materials Required, Location and Preferred Production Time – Meaning if production is required to be completed after hours then additional charges may apply.

 

 

- Project Size -

 

Depending on the size of the project we understand that some projects are larger than others and as a result offer a discounted rate once the mural project has exceeded 30m2. Depending on the project, this tailored price will be provided to you upon request. 

 

- Concept & Design - 

 

Our square metre rate includes general design time (3-4 hours)

If a large amount of design work is required beyond the include time frame an additional charge may be required.

 

 

- Equipment Hire -

 

Our rates do not include equipment such as a scissor lift, cherry picker or scaffolding that may be required depending on the scale or accessibility of the project. If needed, equipment hire will be included in our formal quote.

 

All artists using equipment have a valid ticket of use (Elevated work Platform)

 

 

- Council Permits & Traffic Control -

 

Large scale projects may require areas to be blocked off in order for our artist to paint your project. Traffic control and pedestrian management strategies are also something to be considered. We are happy to organise any necessary permits for you or you may obtain them if you wish to so.
